Authority Zero – The Back Nine

Arizona punk rock / reggae band presents a new EP. The songs are written with intent of lifting people up with hopes of a better future and to mindset them during our recent events during these darker times.

Bunker 66 – Beyond The Help Of Prayers

I love when heavy metal choruses and some melodic touches are added to the uncompromisingness and power of sick blackened speed / thrash metal. I have been following these Italians for a long time and now I consider them one of the juiciest in the game.

Dropkick Murphys – Turn Up The Dial

The 10th full-length album from these Boston legends. With 11 tracks on "Turn Up That Dial", Dropkick Murphys celebrate the simple pleasure of music, the relief and release from worry that comes when you "turn up that dial" and blast your troubles away. "On this record, the overall theme is the importance of music, and the bands that made us who we are" explains the DKM founder and co-lead vocalist Ken Casey. "We just hope [the album] takes people’s minds off their troubles".

Evile – Hell Unleashed

In 41 minutes, "Hell Unleashed" unchains the unbridled forces of hell, catches some rousing demons of the past and provides classical thrash metal with a contemporary yet hard-edged touch.

Gojira – Fortitude

The most diverse album in the discography of the band and one of the most anticipated albums of 2021! You know the drill, give it a listen!

Hatewölf – Somos De La Noche / Ewïg Frost -- Aïn't No Saïnt

I combined these two completely independent releases with one description, because in my opinion — they are perfect companion releases. The guys from Mexico Hatewölf and the guys from Vienna Ewïg Frost share their love for Motorhead, punk and rock'n'roll (Hatewölf is also quite into d-beat). The playlist for a motorbike picnic on the May holidays is ready!

Malämmar – Mazza

Doom and hardcore from the Barcelona-based band Malämmar. It's simple, 33 minutes of heavy instrumental that makes you headbang.

Tetrarch – Unstable

Yay! Nu metal revival is full on, but for me this is the first record that really hits home. Tetrarch from Atlanta mixes Korn-ish riffs, Linkin Park vocals and Slipknot’s aggression so well that it’s mind-blowing. For anyone who remembers what it's like to be a teenager in mid-2000s.

Ungfell - Es grauet

Ungfell band from Switzerland plays black metal soaked in medieval atmosphere. Listening to "Es grauet", you feel placed in a small mountain town, where all sorts of devilry take place. Here is a slutty girl, who is called a witch, and a tyrant town warden, and priests, and evil twins… And of course, there’s metal.

Vreid – Wild North West

Blackened metal from Norway, melodic, with the clinging riffs, powerful bass and brilliant production. The album touches on the themes of war, fear, betrayal, loss, anxiety, and madness, taking "Northern Heart" as the basis of the sound, inspired by the uneven Norway landscape, which exists between eternal darkness and the calm of pleasant light.

Warish – Next To Pay

Imagine if Nirvana of "Incesticide" era was crossed with Misfits of "Static Age" era. You’d have sinister low budget horror rock with a visceral, twisted weirdness and bludgeoning riffs. And that’s exactly what you get from this release of Warish.
